This past weekend I enjoyed my 35th High School Reunion in Blue Hill, Maine. Got to meet some great people, reacquaint myself with former classmates, and indulge in many enjoyable activities.
When the party began, I hung out with the new Head Master, Tim Seeley who is coincidentally from RI and his wife Jill’s parents live in Wakefield, RI which is also my home. Tim is a guitarist, singer, and song writer much like myself, we were able to enjoy each others original songs and accompany each other. [Read more…] about My Old (High) School – Reunion

I saw you last night at Twin River Casino, and I was floored by how effortless you made this great music sound!! Solid and tight band; horn section flawless, female vocalists superb. Great, great show.

I want to thank you folks for another fabulous evening of entertainment Saturday night at Newport Grand. You always give 150% at every performance.
Rejoice, Steely Dan fans, the next best thing to seeing the real band live is a local group of ten exceptional musicians who play the music, note perfect. Fantastic horns, great vocals, soaring guitars, terrific and attractive female singers—all blended together to complete a perfect mix. Add a great keyboardist, bad-ass bassist, and driving drummer and you’ve got a musical libation that will shock your senses.
Make no mistake-your show was the best we’ve ever seen at the Monkey, including performances by the Wailers (twice), George Clinton, Natalie MacMaster, Tusk (twice), The Machine, Kashmir, 1964 and others. Seriously, the best.
Having been a part of or around the music business since the 80s, I have to say that I am hard to impress. This past Friday night, I was extremely impressed! This band is TIGHT! Production, presentation, sound, and incredible musicianship combined for a thoroughly enjoyable show. This band does something that Steely Dan has not always been able to do, which is reproduce the amazing Steely Dan sound live. Well done!
Saw you guys at Fort Adams…awesome! My wife and I saw your group for the first time at Fort Adams last weekend. Loved the show and hope to see you again real soon.
You guys are so professional, the harmonies are tight, it feels great to hear The Dan and see all those people loving it. Huge congrats, I know those arrangements are challenging and you guys are nailing it!
Great Show tonight at the Flying Monkey in NH , Thank You! You guys really rocked the house, a couple of time I just closed my eyes and it was like being at home listening to a Steely Dan record, unbelievable. During intermission my wife and I were talking with a couple sitting behind us that just saw Steely Dan in Boston recently, they commented on how Hey Nineteen was much better than seeing Steely Dan live.
